Absolute Resorts & Hotels are proud to announce their sponsorship of the 2010 Phang Nga Bay Regatta. As the Major Sponsor for the Regatta, Absolute World Group have offered the luxurious Absolute Chandara Resort & Spa property on Phuket's East Coast as the venue for registration and the opening party.

The Phang Nga Bay Regatta is now in its 13th year and has become known as the “fun regatta”, where participants start in Phuket, sail through Phang Nga Bay, to Krabi and back to Phuket over four days. Each day starts and finishes at a different location, with participants partying at a different venue each night and sleeping onboard their yachts as they explore the magnificent surrounds that Phuket has to offer.

“We are very happy to support the Phang Nga Bay Regatta,” said Mr. Supachart Ruamsamu, Managing Director Absolute Resorts & Hotels. “The Regatta has promoted Phuket and surrounds for over a decade and we join the organisers in showcasing what a great place Phuket's East Coast and surrounding islands are.”

Regatta organisers say over 60 yachts are expected, with approximately 350 plus participants and media attending. Yachts will berth at the Jumeirah Marina Phuket opposite Absolute Chandara Resort & Spa, and then come to the resort for registration and the opening party.

Registration will take place Wednesday 3rd February at Absolute Chandara Resort & Spa from noon until 17:30, with the opening party starting at 18:30.
